During the huge Florida show cluster Flint (Ch HiStyle’s Stone Crusher) won Best of Breed 10 out of the 13 shows he showed in.  Below is a photo of Flint moving around the ring in Florida.

Well in Illinois it’s COLD and SNOWY!  If it’s not snowing it’s blowing snow we already have in huge drifts.  The weather is just brutal and thought I’d share some candid photos taken today.

The silver lining is the Schnauzers LOVE the white stuff.  Right now it’s warmer by almost 20 degrees in Anchorage Alaska, not often I can say I’d rather be in Alaska lol…

I was greeted this morning with photos of Smirk and owner handler Michelle Peters.  I’m really proud of Michelle, she’s doing an excellent job!

Smirk is Sired by Ch HiStyle’s Barracuda and Ch HiStyle’s Super Star.  This litter also produced Ch HiStyle’s Batman (who’s a top ranked dog in Mexico) and HiStyle’s In Your Dreams (who we kept and we’ll be shown this spring)

According to the Canine Chronicle Ch HiStyle’s Stone Crusher (Flint) finished the #5 Giant Schnauzer (breed point system) in the country!

Considering Flint was shown so young (he only just turned two years old) and the fact he was shown on a limited basis in 2008 this is a great accomplishment.  Now that Flint is grown up we look forward to seeing what 2009 will bring.

At times we have a bit to much down time at the dog show…

Justin (Ch HiStyle’s Justification) got to strut around the dog show as Darth Schnauzer ready to destroy the galaxy.

Flint is a featured dog on Purina Pro Club’s Circle of Champions web site.

It’s a write up about Ch HiStyle’s Stone Crusher (Flint) and his Best of Opposite Sex win at the national specialty under breeder judge Sylvia Hammarstrom.  This was a great win for us winning under such an accomplished breeder and was especially nice since his 2nd birthday was the day of the national.

Karolina is a great friend we hope 2009 is just as successful for her as 2008 was!
